Born in Kosovo, Pren embarked on a journey to America alongside his parents and brother during the challenging times of the Serbian war. Their new home? The vibrant borough of the Bronx. Within this bustling community, Pren’s deep-rooted connection to the restaurant industry began to sprout, igniting a lifelong passion for cooking and crafting the perfect pizza. Imagine a young Pren, just 12 years old, stepping foot into the aromatic world of the Bronx’s pizzerias, absorbing every secret, technique, and mouthwatering aroma.

As Pren grew older, his family relocated to the picturesque Dutchess County, where he continued honing his pizza-making skills and ventured into creating his specialty pies. The fusion of traditional New York flavors and Pren’s innovative spirit gave birth to a medley of pizzas that would soon captivate the hearts and taste buds of pizza enthusiasts near and far.

In 2011, destiny intervened, and Pren met his beloved wife, Melissa. Together, they embarked on a journey to South Carolina, with their four beautiful children. As Pren’s biggest cheerleader, Melissa stood by his side as he shared his culinary magic with the local community. Pappa Pren’s Pizza became more than just a name—it symbolized community, love, and the shared joy of savoring a delicious slice.

But Pren’s commitment to his community didn’t stop at the pizzeria’s doors. Oh no! He became a true community contributor, generously serving his mouthwatering creations at church events, school functions, baseball games, and private gatherings. Pren’s warm spirit and delectable pizzas became the heart and soul of these events, bringing smiles to faces and creating memories one slice at a time.
